Summer Schoening

Summer is a senior tax accountant that brings a poised, solutions-minded energy to every engagement she touches. With 5 years of experience out of college, she has navigated everything from core bookkeeping to complex year-end tax deliverables for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Clients quickly learn that Summer is the teammate they can count on: she answers questions fast, sets clear expectations, and—when an issue falls outside her current knowledge—seamlessly taps into the deep bench of expertise at Finney Neill to deliver the right answer without delay.

A Cashmere, Washington native and proud member of the AICPA, Summer graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Agricultural and Food Business Economics in 2021. She then attended Louisiana State University to finalize the credits needed for an Accounting career, now she is completing the final steps toward her CPA license while continuing to broaden her technical toolkit.

Outside the office, you’ll find her exploring the trails and rivers around Leavenworth with her fiancée and their adventurous dog, or perfecting a new recipe in the kitchen. Whether she’s leading a client call or charting a back-country hike, Summer approaches every challenge with the same philosophy: communicate clearly, act decisively, and always deliver more value than expected.
