Zach Rupp

Zach, the firm’s Tax Shareholder has been a trusted member of the Finney Neill team since 2010, bringing a distinctive blend of technical tax expertise, strategic insight, and people-centered service to his work. He specializes in individual, corporate tax compliance, consulting, and client advisory services, helping clients navigate complex financial matters with clarity and confidence. With a strong commitment to responsiveness and proactive communication, Zach is known for building lasting client relationships grounded in trust, and forward-thinking advice.

Before joining Finney Neill, Zach worked as a private practice mental health therapist and did some Non-Profit work; experiences that continue to shape his thoughtful, disciplined approach to client service and leadership.

Originally from Ohio and a Seattle resident for the past 26 years, Zach brings both perspective and steadiness to his role. Zach graduated from Taylor University, with a bachelors of Science in Accounting. Among his proudest accomplishments is passing the CPA exam while working full-time and raising three children under the age of 10 — a reflection of the dedication, resilience, and work ethic that define his career.

At Finney Neill, Zach cares deeply about creating an environment where talented professionals can build long-term careers and feel genuinely invested in the firm’s future. He believes one of the firm’s greatest strengths is its people, and he is passionate about retaining the exceptional team that makes the work possible.

Outside of the office, Zach enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his kids at sports and dance events, attending college football games and concerts, cooking, hosting gatherings, and traveling. He is also a member of the AICPA and WSCPA.
