Mekea Miracle
Biography
Mekea is an Audit and Assurance Senior at Finney, Neill & Company, P.S., bringing more than eight years of experience serving not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, and affordable housing clients. Since beginning her career in 2017, Mekea has built a strong foundation in auditing, accounting, tax preparation, and consulting, earning a reputation for thoughtful service and a steady commitment to quality. Her professional path includes experience in both public accounting and with the State Auditor’s Office, giving her a well-rounded perspective that strengthens the insight and value she brings to every engagement.
At Finney Neill, Mekea’s work is centered on providing audit and compliance services to not-for-profit organizations and housing authorities, as well as supervising audits of affordable housing entities. She has developed particular expertise in nonprofit and governmental accounting and auditing, and she takes pride in going beyond the expected scope of an engagement to deliver additional value to clients. Mekea is known for her proactive mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to helping organizations navigate complex requirements with confidence and clarity.
Originally from Gig Harbor, Mekea attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg and has called Wenatchee home since 2018. She values Finney Neill’s commitment to building strong, lasting relationships—both with clients and within the professional community—which closely reflects her own approach to service.
Outside of the office, Mekea enjoys woodworking and gardening, and she also serves as a court appointed special advocate for children in the welfare system, reflecting her dedication to making a meaningful impact in the community.
